||4 of 5 people found the following review helpful.| Interesting book about Jewish superstitions|By Maggie Anton|I did quite a bit of research in the area of Jewish superstitions for my historical novels, Rashi's Daughters, Book 1: Joheved and Rashi's Daughters, Book II: Miriam, and I used this book a few times. However, a much better book on this subject is Trachtenberg's Jewish Magic and Superstition: A Study in Folk Religion.
